Can anyone tell me what the banner said on Friday night? It seems like it had a funny message on it but I couldn't read all of it.

Classy and respectfull, but not really funny in the sense that the Bulldogs banners are.
The one I really liked was the the Saints one that read
Our Jacks are nimble
Our Jacks are quick
Thanks Hawks for the first round pickComment

Rumour has it Friday might be as follows:
You took Paul Roos
Matthews & Frosty Too
Tippett's re-signed
Your forward lines' sc**wedComment
-
Or:
There is all this talk of the Dees
How they have become the bee's knees
But the red and white
Will shake thunder tonight
Onwards to victory with ease
I'll get my hat.Comment

That really rubs Hawthorn's nose in it. St Kilda will really benefit from the likely #3 pick to pick someone to replace Riewoldt just when they need it (they will also have another pick around #10). Hawthorn, on the other hand, have probably locked themselves in for the 2019 spoon by gimping their 2016 and 2017 drafts."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

Yeah, you're probably right, but: a man with a moustache, who has a petulant hissy fit, because he's not allowed in the men's change rooms? Could there possibly be another reason?Comment

Deja, I'm a big fan of your posts and your humour but I find this one offensive and inappropriate. It has two offensive implications:
1. There is something wrong with being gay and, if you are, that might be a reason not to be allowed into the Swans change rooms.
2. Gay men are petulant and have hissy fits.
I don't think that's funny.
And, as the Pride match approaches, we wonder why no AFL player has ever yet come out as gay. Why would someone open themselves to endless snide comments of this ilk?All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)
