Says AA played midfield last week too and:

?Aliir is a unique player, it?s an advantage and a privilege to have him with us as he?s someone who can make things happen across a number of positions."

        That's all rather exciting

Huge win by the lads. Aliir, Rose and Sinkers had good games. I liked the look of Sam Barkley.

AJ got through ok? On the score line I assume he didn't have to do a lot in the back pocket!

AJ showed that he is still some way off. It was great to see him out there - fantastic - and he did a few classy things, but he is clearly still picking up the pace of the game. Very promising signs but I reckon it could still be a long road ahead for him.

I'll stick with my assertion that if he makes back into the one's, it won't be until next season.....the knee needs to prove itself over the remainder of 2017 in the two's AND he will probably need all that time anyway just to work out the game again. He was just interviewed on ABC Grandstand at half time and said there's times out there that he's asking himself "what am I doing?", that he's sort of learning the game over again and that at the moment he's just enjoying being out there playing......and he has no timeline for a return to the seniors.

For once, I think that's actually a pretty fair list of who the best players actually were.

I also think it's a good list for the bests today. Aliir playing the whole game in defence tells me that he has been earmarked to come in to the senior team next week to cover the tall GWS setup. Best game for Rose for quite a while, although he was okay last week as well. But he kicked 4 super goals today. There's life in him yet. It's also good to see COR coming back into some good form over the past 2 weeks.

Notice O'Riordan is often in the best. I wonder whether he will be retained long term. Hard to get into seniors at the moment. Seems to have developed reasonably well.

Agree and I also think cases could be made for a few more as well. Thought Murray was again excellent defensively and offensively off half back. Bj actually kicked the ball well for once. Talia very solid at the back on their tall forwards

Actually last week was only his second time in the bests in 10 games. Would love to see what he can do in the seniors but there is an absolute logjam for defensive places at the Swans at the moment.

I thought Rose was the absolute standout - as did others around me by the looks of things - he was the guy that really made it happen....
