LOL. I'd actually just gone and found it and read the relevant sections myself (though confusingly they're not in section 8 entitled "Finals" (where you will find eligibility rules for non-AFL clubs) but instead stuck in section 16 ("Special Requirements").

Having read them again, I am none the wiser as to how Cunningham is eligible to play this weekend unless there is also some provision for an application to be made under special circumstances. If there is such a provision, I can see why an allowance might be made for someone like Cunningham - on the injury comeback trail, might be needed for AFL finals, needs more game time rather than further rest, probably wouldn't have played senior AFL last week had it not been for the injuries to Hanners and Papley, has at least played some NEAFL this year. Playing him isn't taking the piss out of the spirit of the eligibility rules (as playing Hanners would be).

I have to presume (because I can't be bothered to check) that most of the returning Suns players qualify on the basis of having played sufficient NEAFL games during the season. Certainly those who have played senior footy have just played the odd game here and there (I think).

You mean "played". I hope our Reserves remind them about how well they "played" all day long tomorrow.

Yes, was one of the most inept performances seen on an AFL stage in a long time. I know they've had a long injury list for three years now but hard to know if they have upside or are a genuine basket case developing. Next coach has his work cut out.

Swans - 13 players with senior experience and 368 games
Suns - 17 players with senior experience and 658 games

Should be a tough contest based on these stats

May I suggest our players have had to work harder to get those games

My son kicked his first goal since tearing his ACL in the game at BISP prior to the NEAFL game. Just thought I'd throw that in there. :-)

Watched last 15 minutes of first quarter. Swans up by 28 at quarter time. Naismith dominant.

                          Great goal from Rose.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I'm beginning to think that these Suns players, may have went for Mad Monday drinks with the rest of the Suns. And if they did, on what day Mad Monday actually end?

Anyone know what happened with the surface. There's a few criticisms you can throw at Blacktown but usually the ground surface isn't one of them. It's very soft underfoot
