He is good at harassing defenders inside his 50.
He needs the ball to be at his best.

exactly my point earlier in the thread

How longmire used him last week would be like putting nick smith in the fwd pocket stupid
Again he upset our fwd line by not selecting melican
We had to send fwds to defence then go long to Buddy who after 800 plus goals is still yet to take a pack mark
Coaching staff need a rocket for their stupidity

Horse has crucified Rohan in key games. He should remain in the forward line and use his speed, tackling pressure and excellent kicking to pressure the opposition.

        He is not a defender.

              Camp 7:

Gary goes Back to the NEAFL and learn hows to play on the wing or even the midfield in small bursts so that when the game isn't going his way he can still contribute. I know there is a worry about his body but I think small bursts doing the hard yards will give him mental and physical confidence.

It's not a talent issue it's between the ears, he has to learn, to contribute even when things aren't working. This will hopefully improve his confidence so he can get on a roll and become the player we all think he can be.

One thing Gary needs is an uninterrupted pre-season. I know he's missed large chunks of the past 2 and doubt that he's had to many in his career.

It's difficult making a big impact playing in a forward line with Buddy Franklin. Our coaching staff need to find a way to get him more involved. He's certainly willing and talented enough. He plays a position where it's easy to have a dog of a game especially when the team is flat and just bombing the ball into the forward line.

The blame shouldn't always fall on the player. There are extenuating circumstances to consider.

Or implies he's not the source of the problem

Why are you looking at one game?. He has been quiet in big wins, big loses and close finals. The result doesn't matter.

Interesting to see the goals for the year:

                          Goals
                          1. Lance Franklin ? 73
                          2. Tom Papley ? 30
                          2. Sam Reid ? 30
                          4. Will Hayward ? 22
                          4. Gary Rohan ? 22
Lance Franklin was again the dominant force up forward to claim his fourth Coleman Medal courtesy of a bag of ten in Round 23. Sam Reid managed 30 goals for the season, his best return in front of the big sticks since 2012. Hayward was a clear highlight this season as the Rising Star nominee managed 22 goals from 17 matches in his first season.

And Gaz spent some fruitless time in defence over the season. Not a bad effort.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Bazza you were the one looking at one game; our loss to Geelong. Previous week he went OK.

That's BS, I've always looked at his entire finals portfolio.

... hence the title of the thread "enough is enough", which is a phrase used when you'd put up with something for too long.
