Agree. We don't want a 'Levi Casboult' in our side. How frustrating would that be? We're inaccurate enough as it is!Comment

If F/S did override academies and I was Nick Blakey, I'd probably choose Brisbane over North...Comment

I just watched the stream of the inter club practice match and, contrary to my earlier post, I didn't see him missing shots at goal (apologies Tom!). On the contrary I saw him kick a really good running goal. I wasn't paying close attention but all I saw was him kick one from one - I posted otherwise because that was what I read. Also, from what I saw, he moved incredibly well for a bigger guy. I think he is a lot closer to playing AFL than Stoddart who looked lively but spindly and easily knocked off the ball. Apart from anything else I don't expect to see Stoddart given a debut game this year because he doesn't yet appear to have the body for AFL.All opinions are not equal. Another correction: I have just seen the 10 minute 4th quarter which I didn't realise existed before. Tom has another shot at goal. It's a set shot into the breeze from about 40+ metres out with a bit of an angle and he misses. Nothing too alarming. Sorry for the confusion! All opinions are not equal. Congratulations to young McCartin getting his debut! Meteoric rise for McCartin - sydneyswans.com.au
Did alright too, played his role.
To be honest I expected them to select Cameron first, given his recent good NEAFL form and also his ability to contribute in the ruck. Anyway, good on them for giving McCartin a go, showing faith in our youth and seeing what they have to offer. I especially liked seeing Tom's family supporting the Swans (even if only for this game). When they were interviewed by BT in the rooms after the game, his younger brother, Charlie, in particular seemed to have a big rap for the Swans. Poignant given the way both Paddy and the Saints are going. Glad they got to celebrate a fantastic victory. All opinions are not equal.
