It must have been difficult waiting so many months for a tragedy destined to happen and a relief now that they can put it in the past as best they can and focus on their new family. The Rohans are a bit luckier than the McVeighs, because they have the joy of the birth of their daughter to celebrate. I imagine that their friends and family will help turn the mood to a happy one.

This puts footy into perspective. Both a very sad and joyous time. My thoughts, as I'm sure all our thoughts are with them.

Gary and Amie were absolutely magnificent with the way they handled their situation.

While we Swans mourn the loss of one of their twins, we celebrate the arrival of a beautiful girl who is so lucky to have the parents she has!

Fortunately, Gary and Amie are Swans - they belong to a club that will give them all of the understanding and support they will need.

Our love and best wishes go to them and their family.

It?s a scenario that?s impossible to reconcile. First child born and immediate death of another.

Such a happy time offset by something they couldn?t control.

No idea what type of psychological impact that would have.

It is an impossible position to be in. The joy and heartbreak simultaneously.
RB42 and family are thinking of the Rohans today.

Tragic and joyous. I just can't imagine being in their shoes.
Big hugs and love to Gaz and Aimes. They are two of the loveliest people I have ever met.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

All the best to them all......joy will overtake sorrow eventually but the heartache of their loss will remain forever. Friends and family and club will wrap their arms around them......they are in good hands.

Dreadfully sad. I know there are number of parents of twins on RWO (including myself) and it's an almost impossible scenario to contemplate. Thinking of the 4 of them greatly.

Terrible situation. My thoughts are with the Rohans - both good and bad.
