When my app rang those changes through just now I cheered. Must be healthy to get through an Achilles injury so quickly.

Wow wasn't expecting Buddy. Interesting that McCartin stays in, they must like what he brings. Who rocks when Sinclair rests?

Who will be the second ruckman ?

              The candidates would be
              McCartin for his height
Parker has contested some boundary throw ins, but not many
              Rohan with his leap?
              Heeney?

Or have we just conceded that it makes no difference whether you?re 180cm or 190cm when you?re up against Sandilands ?

Personally, I would have given Hannebery a game or two in the NEAFL. Obviously a great player, but looked very rusty in his couple of games this season.

Horse says: "I ruled [Buddy] out on Monday, that's how unusual the injury was, he had a scan again on Tuesday, ....it got better and better the last couple of days.... and in the end, he's going to play" Ducks and drakes?!

Hannebery is "very experienced... very fit".

Kept McCartin - "competed well in the front half".

I'm so confused about Buddy. Were we playing games? Can't believe Longmire would do that though.

                        Anyway what a pleasant surprise.

Can just imagine the Freo coaches when they saw the ins ????.

Hopefully he pulls up well the next couple of weeks and can play in the indigenous game against Carlton.

I think it is just the unpredictable nature of a bruised heel. Totally agree re the indigenous round, really want to see Buddy run out in that wonderful indigenous jumper.

I wonder how many extra people Buddy will draw through the gate.

I reckon his absence cost the attendance 10,000 last week (and the weather cost another 10k).

I can't believe they'd play him if there was any chance of the heel getting sore again. Our forward line has been going OK without him - not that we won't be better for having him back in, but it's not exactly panic stations. It's still the midfield that most needs to lift to improve all around performance.

Maybe we rushed him back to take advantage of the blocking rule.
