    #AFL Round 13, Swans vs Eagles, 7:50pm, SCG #AFLSwansEagles @sydneyswans

Game day! Has the potential to be a ripper.

Fine in Sydney today but has been quite a stiff breeze at times, though seems to be dropping off.

Eagles are coming off their bye, have a habit of being lousy travellers, haven?t won against The Swans since 2009 at the SCG and are coming off the long run of 10 straight wins.
I?m finding it hard to pick the winner however because of the talent in their lineup I reckon they might give us a lesson tonight. Winning is a habit to them atm.
My heart goes Swans by 7 .
My head says Eagles by 15.

The breeze is still stiff and very chilly, but the field is looking good. Big game tonight - huge chance to set our season up.

            Come on you mighty swannies!!!

With the breeze blowing will it be dewy?

Less dewy than if there were no breeze. There?s also light cloud cover at the moment, which will also provide some dew protection.

The forecast is for the wind to lessen as the evening draws on.

Surprisingly 7 of the 8 Fox Footy panel tonight have tipped a West Coast victory (including Roos). Brereton being the odd man out tipping a Swans win. This means we go in as underdogs!

I'm feeling very very nervous at the moment. It's the most nervous I've been all season. It's such an important game.

C'mon Swans please come out firing!

I can't believe Luke Parker is playing his 164th game tonight at age 25. Nic Fosdike was 28 and Ricky Quade was 29. I know Quadey had injuries but it just shows how resilient Parker is.

I hate the late start of Friday night games - the nervousness builds for far too long.

It will be interesting to see how we go tonight - it will be a good test. Let?s go you beautiful, blood-stained angels!

Congrats on a great career Heath - unfortunately I don't think we go well in 'milestone' games - get stuck into them early.

That's good news, because we just won the toss.
