They may not be meant as derogatory but they could be taken that way.
    Jarrad
? has played 311 games for Sydney.
? Captained the Swans to the 2012
    Premiership.
? was captain for 5 yrs
? has twice won the B. Skilton Medal
    ? all Australian in 2013

    He?s had a remarkable season .
Not that what he?s achieved is even relevant.

Would you walk up to him at a function if he?s standing among a group or with his family (or any of our players) and address him by the names above?
    Absolutely spot on.

I dispute several of your assertions. Have you seen his record against opponents? He has quite a good record of keeping opponents quiet. I don't think he has to be lead to the ball otherwise he would be useless as an intercept player. His major problem is backing himself against opponents and leaving a gap between him and them. He seems to be able to make up that gap most times but it does give coaches heartburn. His second problem is one where when they have the ball, he can seem almost nonchalant and some of his tackling is soft. The last is the worst and I think and coaches get really pissed off by that.

i think I might just have Heens, Parksie and Joey ahead of him too.

Oh, Paps is injured? My Swans app team sheet didn't mention 'injured', so I assumed it was on form. Checking his last game stats, he only got 9 possessions but kicked two goals. Anyone aware what his injury is?

The swans app says it's a hip injury. Apparently it's the same injury that kept him out of the Carlton game. He re-injured it during the Eagles game. Longmire said he might be ok for the Geelong game.

That is a big surprise. Good for Rose.

I'm really surprised that Towers has fallen out of favour since getting a poke in the eye. He is such a versatile tall, quick player that puts in 100% every game. Rose has been putting up good numbers in the NEAFL but whenever he has played the top grade I haven't seen the output that Towers is capable of.

Good thing about Towers is that he is great at pinch hitting in the ruck. I think he is finally over his shakes and provides us with a bit of x-factor in the middle when he rucks

The Papley injury can't be too bad if he's in the selection mix for next week. With such good depth at the moment, we have the opportunity to rest Papley and bring in Rose, who deserves an opportunity for a senior game given his solid performance so far this season.

We have a chance to pile up on Nankervis in the ruck if we use Aliir as our backup. Force Nanka to defend against a couple of ruckmen that have pace and agility on him.

What a waste of time the Swans injury report is.

I hope Rose grabs this opportunity. There can't be too many left for him at the Swans you'd think.
