I can’t imagine Chris Scott being a happy chappy at quarter time.

Dees will knock off Hawthorn as well.

Razor is a very grateful person, he’s always saying ‘thank you very much’ when he gets the ball.

Just wondering, travelling between Canberra and Beechworth at game time, which radio station am I listening to?

There's the school of thought that Melbourne are the 2018 version of Richmond. Now the monkey is off their back, they are going to blossom like the Tigers did.

Mind you Cats somehow won that quarter

I like the demons because they have some ex essendon players who said "this is bull@@@@" and got out of that sick club instead of trying to defend the indefensible.

Wasting it a lot though. Cats are in this.

Great first quarter by the Dees and can't fault their effort, but poor in front of goal in the second. They could be 8 goals up with the game more or less in the bag.

Haven't seen many of their games this year, I'm starting to see why people like to watch them.

They are both attempting to play the same style as Richmond, but Dees are doing it better than Cats. Makes great footy to watch and hard to contain. I hope we're up for it.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I wonder if the 2 bruise free games that the cats played to finish the season has had an impact. Early on they didn't seem to be playing finals footy whereas the demons were tackling like crazy.

I'm at the game and I've never seen so many demons supporters in my life!! Even the MCC Members is packed and that doesn't even happen on GF day.

By the end of the game last night it felt like the Hawks were also trying to knock the ball forward at every opportunity and never trying to pick it up. I know conditions were wet.

This quarter feels more even so far.

There's a few Melbourne players would look good running around in Red and White.

Spot on Liz about the Scott brothers and the whining/whinging Cats players.

The favourite day of the AFL season when we don't win the flag for mine is the day that I know, for the next six months or so, we will have piece on our office - because we won't have to listen to the way over the top, painful as Cats fan play his stupid bear on a Monday morning after a win! I hope we can snag a win tomorrow so I can rub that in a bit, but even if we get beat, I will enjoy giving him a bit of crap on Monday morning! He will be full of excuses still however.

Three or four superstars (Danger, Ablett, Selwood , Hawkins) do not win a footy match, but a bunch of very hungry mongrels plus Max Gawn do.
