Stoddart seriously has appalling decision making.

This umpiring though is utterly dreadful - have we been paid a single holding the ball all day?

Hmmm this could be our lowest finals/Grand Final score at any level?

Unfortunately I can’t get to the NEAFL GF. But I was hoping to finish work in time to watch the game streamed. goswannette is running a half marathon on the morning of the game but was hoping to get home in time for the game too. She generally isn’t a big watcher of Reserves footy but in an effort to stimulate enthusiasm from her, I’m attempting to make it a bit of a match day experience for her.

I’m hanging some of my plethora of Swans merchandise around the living room to decorate it. Got pies & sausage rolls to heat’n’eat during the game. Drinks in Swans cups. Will be watching it streamed on my big smart TV. I wanted a Football Record for the game (I always buy one when I attend games and always buy the AFL GF Record when I watch it on TV) but when I contacted the NEAFL they said they don’t actually have one : so I used the stats & match info you provided to make a color 20 page Football Record for goswannette to read during the game. Even made a ticket for her to “attend” the screening. All I need now is the Swans to win to make the day a bit more fun!

Thanks again for your efforts ugg!
Even with all of the above effort, goswannette has struggled to enjoy the game.

This game could go for 8 quarters and we won't get a HTB call. As it so often does, the umpiring leaves plenty to be desired at this level.

I hope Dawson is having a bad day but his decision making is woeful - no chance of being a good AFL player

We did get one but then O'Riordan took advantage and kicked it straight to a Southport player

Must have been when I went off to the little boys room haha. Only been about 25 others that could have been paid. But gee we have been awful, just awful.

10 goals in the last quarter with the massive breeze at our backs? I can only hope

                      Would be nice.

Just not even looked likely at all today. Cameron well contained in the ruck, Dawson hasn't done a lot bar the goals, Rose his typical self (Some good moments but then lots of 'oh James' moments), Styles/Stoddart look a long way off being AFL footballers. Most impressive of our listed players has been Maibaum - have manfully battled down back and O'Riordan, who has battled manfully and done his best to lead from the front.

I love the commentary “10 goals, can the Swans produce a miracle in this last quarter?what do you think Mark”
                        [silent pause]Mark: “we’ll, no.”

“I like the cut of his jib!” - apparently there is pirate in the commentary booth

“Lots of people with tights sphincters” - what the?? :

Very dramatic commentary about the 19 players on the ground. as if they will take all of Southport’s points off them! Silly duffers!!

And even if there was some such ridiculous rule, then the game should be stopped until they sorted it out, as the momentum would be different if all of a sudden we would be in front instead of 10 goals down. Silly stuff
