    Yep, a Swans dress!

As long as he can demonstrate that sort of brilliant decision making more often, then he is going to be such a treat to watch over his career (not that he isn't already wonderful to watch). Fantastic that he won Mark of the Year - thoroughly deserved for a great grab.

I hope someone warned Daisy that interview with Tom will cost her a grand!

Why don’t they just rename it the Midfielder Medal .

Poor Nick! Although I guess that makes him, out of all the players in history to have never polled a vote and there would be a few, the undisputed best.

According to his Instagram account Callum was the ‘7th emergency’ to attend the Brownlow!

Here’s some perspective ... Alf Boniface’s averaged 1.5 Brownlow votes per game through this entire VFL career. Alf played 2 games for Footscray in 1940, polling 3 votes.

South’s own Neville Forge polled a Brownlow vote in half the games of his VFL career (2 games, 1 vote) in 1962.

As someone noted on Twitter last night, its the votes of the players playing on Nick Smith that count. Not too many players would have received Brownlow votes after being matched up against Nick Smith.

Rory Laird polled really well, yet he plays a similar role to Jake Lloyd. Jake had a high possession rate so why the discrepancy. Laird is talked up a lot by the media whereas Jake hardly rates a mention.

We played the Hawks twice. Mitchell polled 0 votes in both games.
George polled 2 in game 2.

Who says the tagger is dead. How on earth was Sidebottom allowed to have his own picnic on the wing against Richmond. He could easily have been leaning on the fence talking to the fans and would still have racked them up. No way West Coast will let that happen. As I have said George is a great tagger. He just has to do more with the footy when he gets it.

It’s obviously no slight on Nick not getting Brownlow votes. Wanganeen is the only back pocket to win one. And I’m sure his Premiership medal is far more satisfying than getting a Brownlow vote.

I just like interesting Swans Brownlow factoids.

Brad Hardie (Footscray) won the Brownlow in 1985.
