I saw the photo in the Herald Sun and it was nice to see. I'm glad there's no bad blood even though some of Rohan's comments have been contradictory.
Past players - what are they up to?

Hannebery made his debut for Sandy in the VFL today. Had 24 disposals in 3 quartersComment

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

Agree with this. Their young players will drop off and Scott's finals record is very ordinary post 2011 where he inherited a champion team.Comment

I'm sorry to agree with you Barry
, but I do. Rohan's GF form doesn't give confidence in his contribution, and, as far as the team, I think that there are other teams that are pacing their run better than is Geelong. They're not handed a premiership just because they may be two games clear ahead at the bye.

One thing the Cats have got going for them is that most of the time they play Dangerfield and Selwood away from the centre bounces. When they actually do play them in there, as they did against us at the start of the third quarter, it gives them another gear.Comment

I also agree, I think it's a pretty poor standard comp this year and Geelong's standing is more a reflection of that.
Reckon Collingwood, West Coast, GWS and Richmond are the preliminary finalists.Comment

Fair point.Comment

I tend to agree with that assessment.....and the four preliminary finalists. Maybe Geelong might make it in place of Richmond if their was any change to it.Comment

I think Geelong, WC and GWS are the likely prelims, with one more spot up for grabs.
Could be Brisbane, if they dont petter out in the second half of the year.
Dont think it will be Collingwood. There glory run is ending, and beams is out for the year.
Dont think it will be Richmond. Good effort by tiges, but 5th is where they are at.
Could be Freo, just need a bit of consistency.
Dont think any of the others can make it.Comment

I disagree. I think Geelong is the real deal and will be a preliminary finalist. Not willing to predict more than that though, especially not this far out. My mate and my main disagreement in the pre-season about which teams would play finals involved me picking Geelong and he Essendon. I was pretty confident Geelong would go alright this year although I'm less confident about the seasons to come. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)
