1) Like the signed Bears pamphlet, I’ve misplaced them over the last 3 decades
2) They were MALE models in the background (... & for the female RWOers, Waz was fully clad in a white suit jacket IIRC)Comment

And now I've just spent the first half hour of Saturday morning, searching the internet for that image. Alas, it doesn't seem to have made it to the digital age. Possibly a good thing.Comment

Seems to be fewer truly memorable/amusing thoughts offered now than there were in the early days of RWO and so much more banality.
Less conversation/discourse and more posters simply stating and restatement opinions, with little response to others.
Compare this current "What are they up to thread" to one on a similar topic from yesteryear What they are doing right now...Last edited by Ruck'n'Roll; 27 January 2019, 01:10 PM.Comment

Gold! Thanks. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)Comment

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

So Brandon doesn't like sport???

There aren't that many pre-premiership RWOers left.
But I remember lots of other threads which were extremely funny - and ended up in the paper. There was one I recall but can't find which involved people arguing whether the Paul Roos no frills midfield was based on a Spartan model.Comment

According to Shane Crawford he knocked back an offer to join the Swans in 2005 which he was ready to accept, but only to decline after we won the flag as he then thought the timing wasn't right. Wonder what he thought 12 months later when we made the GF again! He also earlier knocked back a huge offer from Port Adelaide few years after they'd joined the competition.
