Even though they outscored us 4 goals to 1, we sort of limited the damage to some extent. If we can get some run and less errors back in our game, we might still be a chance.

Buddy’s leg looks a couple of metres shorter these days.

We didn’t take full advantage while we were on top and now we are paying the price. The run has stopped and we are reverting to the static chip chip game which is easy to pick off.

Need some run but not sure where it will come from.

Max Gawn 42 hitouts - heaps of points on the AFL website. Andre The Giant would have won 5 Brownlows if he played.

Agree.....you can spot fundamental footy errors in our game far too often.

We are a WORK in progress, with an emphasis on work.

It will take a couple of years to get back to contention.

Thurlow has been a big disappointment. I thought he could step in and do a job in defence, but his kicking, which was supposed to be a strong point, has been atrocious. It will take some time to get our defence in order.

Buddy has been a liability as our spearhead.Six goals have gone begging.

The five day break is a killer. Don't think we have a chance.

This was always going to happen. This is a carbon copy of how we've played at the S.C.G. the past 12 months! You can't dominate play for patches and not score and put away teams! The ground is too small and makes it easy for teams to score quickly when they get on a run, and we've allowed all teams to do that to us of late unfortunately... I fear we've blown another one at home by not being able to score enough and deplorable sloppy disposal!

We are such a static team. By the way has Hewett turned up tonight.

It's sad because they look like just what we need! Quality skilled youngsters, but just can't get it enough. Hope this doesn't hurt McInerney's development and confidence!

What a stinking pile of poo that quarter was.

That run where there were 3 blatant free kicks in about 10 seconds missed by the maggot with the painted on eyes. The umpiring is killing the game as a spectacle because its completely at random what they will pay and when.

Our midfield stinks in terms of accountability. Our defence looks weak because its been absolutely bombarded, and no matter how good the defence is of a team, it can't concede the amount of chances our is being asked to deal with.

That quarter was awful, and when we are bad this season, we really suck.

Very disappointing quarter. Too many turnovers and the Demons seem to be running everywhere. We seem to have lost confidence. We also have too many players not getting their hands on the ball.
