Swans chat MySwans - a scam?

I just got an email, apparently from the Swans saying "
    - when I go to unlock it starts asking for a lot of info (email, age, phone number, etc) so I closed the page. I presume it's a scam or it's a badly conceived idea by the Swans. Anyone else received this?

What's the URL of the target page? (hover over the "Unlock my offer" button).

Contact the club and ask them if they sent it.
Don't open it till you know.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I didn't get it. Probably spam if you're the only one.

Not a scam this one. The club responded to this thread on Twitter. Sydney Swans Support on Twitter: "No scam, we are giving away a special offer for those who update their details. Thanks!… "

It's a campaign to ensure the club has up-to-date details while offering members an offer of sorts as an incentive.

Apologies for the delay in clarifying this.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
