Swans chat Respecting the past & Remaining in the present

    Hi all,

I've written a piece on the Footy Almanac about the importance of reminiscing while continuing to look forward to a (hopefully) bright future.

I feel as though this is where we're sitting as supporters at the present time.

It's a slightly different style to my usual, so any feedback - good or bad - is greatly appreciated. The opinion of the faithful is what matters most.

    Cheer, cheer.

Thanks for sharing that with us. Much appreciated. I loved the Banjo Patterson quote. With Anzac Day upon us very apt. My father, like your Nan, was instrumental in instilling the love of the Swans in me. He was born in 1933. He often said to me that they won a flag in the year of his birth and would win another in his year of death. Well he died in 2004 and so missed that long awaited flag by one season. He was smiling down from above though!
