I watched the last quarter, was gutted at how Dees squandered the opportunity to shut up Crows supporters for the week and failed to push us up to pick 3 in the draft.
A good friend is an avid Dees member, has become a mess with how it's gone so wrong after last years "green shoots". She assures me they're not tanking!Comment

I, too, have a very soft spot for the Dees as a lot of good friends of mine have been long suffering supporters of them but, sheesh, did they butcher an opportunity last night!! They were clearly the better team for 3 quarters and had numerous opportunities to put the Crows away in the last quarter but botched them. Badly!I watched the last quarter, was gutted at how Dees squandered the opportunity to shut up Crows supporters for the week and failed to push us up to pick 3 in the draft.

Incisive comment from BT during the Essendon/Carlton game.
The game started in relatively dry conditions but steady rain began early in the second quarter.
BT noted that the team that adapts quickest and best to the new conditons generally goes on to win the game.

Had to laugh at the AFL's idea of 'sold out' in regards to the Shanghai game!
Almost spat my tea out when the commentators tried to suggest lots of the empty seats were due to 'restricted view'....
