Seriously, some of Melbournes free kicks tonight have defied logic.....it has to said, for an umpire to pay some of those, they have to be going into the game with a certain mindset.....and it ain't red and white.

They've probably been briefed to stamp out any tanking they see. Umps v tanking. Tanking is winning.

Does this counter the old argument about the noise of the home crowd influencing the umpire decisions? Because on tv the swans fans sound louder than the Melbourne fans.
