I don't believe there is any conspiracy here. As far as I can see the AFL is doing their best to keep the comp going. It looks to me at this stage that Vic sides will be the first to play in a WA hub. This week's game for us is a home game for WCE which tells me we are not going to WA, plus we have already played an Adelaide home game. So not part of a hub in WA or SA so the pressure comes on the Vic clubs. Might just turn out as a very good draw for us.

Or a very bad draw for us considering our recent form at the SCG.

Maybe we can ask to play home games at Spotless or ANZ?

Why do we find it so hard to win at the SCG?

It's down to fast, clean clearances due to the smaller oval. Being able to slingshot out of defence is also more important at the SCG. Back in the day we use to dominate the stoppages through our clean hands and hard tackling. We also had genuine run off half back. These days we do neither, hence our abysmal record at home.

The safest option for the AFL is to move all Victorian teams out and farm them off to other states. By staying in Melbourne and hoping things will get better is rolling the dice.

10 Melbourne teams, divide them to hubs based in Perth, Adelaide, Western Sydney, SCG, Brisbane and GC.

Agree with all of that. Also, Harley was careful to note in his video address the other night that the WCE game is an away game for us.

Has there been any suggestion that teams will
get to play roughly 50/50 home and away? 8/9 or 9/8?

You'd assume they're aiming for some kind of 8/9 split and that there's generally some criteria feeding into who plays more at home (a rolling inconvenience quotient?), although obviously circumstances may dictate.

It appears that any Hawthorn players who live in any of the Melbourne "hotspot" postcodes who attempt to play against the Giants
this weekend at Giant Stadium could be jailed for up to six months. Where was Gladys in 2014 when we really needed her?

Unfortunately the Hawks have said that none of their players or officials live in the hotspots. Apparently 7 of the Victorian teams are affected.

Eddie lying through his teeth straight faced to try to excuse Sidebottom. Outrageous and AFL360 have called him out for being so disingenuous. Hope others do too and that the Pies don't get away with their bs.

Vics left it to late to go to the safe hubs.

Does seem that way, although this Melbourne spike was quite sudden.

Sidebottom got on the drink, ..."was sleeping on the couch, went to go to the loo but accidentally went through the wrong door and found himself outside..." . Laughable. Except it's Eddie....
