fantastic win for the bloods. Down on troops and never gave up.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

That’s a seriously good win against a good side.

Kennedy was a big bloody bull, and some of the younger guys like Florent, Dawson and Heeney superb. I love Papley, and Lloyd was terrific. And Rowbottom is going to be sensational player in a contest, the way he won some important balls.

Plus the two ins. Fox is never going to be a star, but boy on good days he plays such a strong role and does a lot of things right. And McLean the same, his willingness to be a big body happy to compete was superb.

We will be up and down for a bit, but I’m happy that we’re doing the right thing.

Very good effort from the boys - loved it!

Lots of enjoyable efforts today and so many played well. But my man love with Rowbottom continues to grow - he is going to be a beast and his second efforts are fabulous. And there is something about McLean- he has something about him. Raw but has potential.

              Always love beating lolNorf too!

Enormous games by Kennedy, Parker and Lloyd. Rowbottom was very good and Papley really puts the shakes into the opposition backline. His goal assists were sublime. Much better by Heeney.

Agree with all of this. Particularly thought Rowbottom and Florent really stood up. Fox is very dependable. Sinclair was for the most part led a merry dance by Goldstein, but there were two key moments at the death where he did exceptionally well.
I felt sorry for McInerny - thought his first two games were pretty strong - but having McLean in the team was a smart selection.

That was atrocious umpiring last night.....the 'fairypups' are back......and I see we lost today's free kick count by 9. Great win under trying circumstances.

I thought criticisms of Rowbottom last week were extremely unwarranted, he's gonna be a gun for us. Also I'm a McLean fan, super young and raw, should hopefully become a good player. Heeney much better when hes not trying to take mark of the year every contest. Papley, Kennedy and Parker superb as expected. Aliir, Lloyd and Florent good too.

Concerns around Hayward tho, appears to have gone backwards substantially compared to where he was 2 years ago. I'd drop him and bring McInerney back in. Hopefully Naismith back next week and we could be sniffing around the 8 this year.

Good post, agree with all of that.

I'm particularly happy with Rowbottom and Florent who both really showed what good players they'll be. Florent is improving game on game.

                          Papley is thriving.

                          Mature game from Aliir, too.

I have no doubt that Rowbottom will become a star. That was definitely his best game this season though. He's tracking just fine for a 19yo. Thought Aliir had a great game too.

I suspect Hayward may be outed for a week for the late swinging arm in that marking contest.

Yes, I thought Kennedy had an excellent second half and that Rowbottom had some really clever instinctive touches in close.

Given family history we'll be ultra cautious you'd think. Give Gould a run.
