Can someone please explain why Papley didn't get the second kick from the goal square? I always thought that if a free was paid after a goal that it was taken from the goal square.

Hopefully it was about Mitchell being a mercenary bastard, going for the big bucks from a big club.

Haven't seen any stats but I think Dawson, Papley, Ramps and Rowbottom have been great.

Bell hasn't done a lot but he's brought some hardness that I've appreciated.

          Memorable first goal from ET!

How about his “ suck off “ line ? Strange way to say drop off the play. Mind somewhere else Nick ?

Yep still dribbling on about the double free kick in the break too.

We are giving it a good hot go, but you can tell its two bog standard teams out there. I like the intent of Bell and also of our young #37 - some first goal in AFL footy too!

Bell has been excellent with his pressure

Commentators suggesting Papley getting stuck into him for his lack of two way running. Probably just guesswork on their part but revealing nonetheless.

Though I find Lyon worse. Excessively whiney and about 2/3 of his comments could be paraphrased as, 'Oh, it wasn't like this, back in my day'.

That must have been sweet for Mitchell.

More dropping the ball before they get a goal. This is as bad as I've ever seen

Very slippery conditions. Experienced players showing how to adjust.

Lloyd's been good this quarter. Having a solid game.

Haven't been impressed by Gray today but that was a clever kick to Reid inside 50.

Whoever worked with Tom McCartin on his kicking, has done an excellent job
