    Why do you say that?
Is it time for the #Manchild ?

Will play him Fwd pocket with the 9 others we have to give him a chance to develop

The club email had a hint that there'll be another new name.

Could be him. Or Wicks. Or O'Connor even?

            Love those changes.
            - Bottom four performers from last week out. Blakey's rest overdue
            - Mills formally into the middle
            - Specialist backmen in; let's see what we have in Thurlow
            - Wicks in! Yes!
            - Ling holds his spot
            - Stephens back!

            Go Swans!

              Very interesting set of changes.

Out (all dropped): Blakey, Clarke, Taylor, Gray
              In: Wicks, Stephens, Melican, Thurlow

Two tallish backs implies Mills stays in the mids and Aliir to ruck with Sinkers as a ruck/fwd.

              No problems with the outs.

Yeah pretty spot on outs. Blakeys dropping a Few weeks overdue, I reckon this will be a good kick up the bum for him, he’ll return with a vengeance in a few weeks or so. Good to see Wicks get a shot, really made to earn it and we need a good pressure small forward to compliment Paps.

I like Melican in as I still think he’s a future pillar down back for us.

Thurlows selection is a bit puzzling though. We’ve dropped a mid and three mid/forwards for one forward , one mid and two defenders. Mills obviously comes into the mids but I wonder what the other move is ?

Perhaps Sinclair may be a late out and AA to ruck ? Based on nothing other than we may be slightly tall with this line up ..

Wouldn't be suprised if Longmire played Melican up forward.

Would of liked to of seen Taylor stay, otherwise relatively happy with the changes

I think he’ll try and play AA v Grundy and use Sinkers as a fwd/ruck.

I did consider that also but I just felt Reid , Mccartin and Cal is a fairly big forward line... on the other hand could create a favourable matchup for one of them so you never know!

But yes based on the emergencies a late change doesn’t seem too likely ...

Collingwood aren’t known for their tall fwd line so I can’t think we’d play all of Rampe, AA, Melican, Fox and Thurlow back there!

Hopefully it doesn’t mean Rampe will be the late out?

Thurlow could also be used to free up Dawson/Hayward

Don't mind the changes. I sort of agree that Thurlow probably should get another opportunity to show if he can offer us anything as so far he really hasn't. I would prefer Gould in his spot as I think he is our future as our 3rd or 4th tall backman but for whatever reason the match committee doesn't think he's ready yet.

Like that Wicks is getting a go. Finally a debutante that we'll play as a pressure forward that actually has a bit of history of playing that position! Lol.

The treatment of Taylor and Gray is pretty puzzling. Our recycled recruits used to get a solid run in the seniors and a bit of faith shown in them even with a slow start.

Gray and Taylor are the first out every week

Right you are, now it makes sense ! I’d like to see Dawson a bit more on a Wing or even ball so hopefully that’s part of the thinking

Hmm I half agree. Would persist with Taylor but Gray hasn’t shown much at all and he’s had a few cracks at it now.
