I'm in this camp. No matter how he went tonight, JD's still a massive risk. Financially as well, especially with Buddy off the park with a massive back ended contract on which the AFL will no doubt give us no relief.....

For a start, JD has to last until seasons end.....

I think you're right. Only Victorian clubs can afford him, since they don't have salary caps (so it seems). .

Wow! Only quarter time in the Bulldogs/Geelong game and a still a long way to go but the Fairypuppies are making the Cats look like a schoolboy team.

Gee, that's very, very hard to admit!

The Chuckers are making a bit of a mess of the Cats. 39-3 at quarter time. Surely no Selwood shouldn't make that much difference to Geelong?

Strange game. Sixty points to the southern end and six to northern end. There's a moderate breeze coming from the south, so if anything, it's favouring the northern end.

Bruce got in a bit of froth over an obvious Bulldog throw. He slipped back into some 2016 nostalgia. 'Such quick hands' drooled Bruce.

Our Gazza is struggling in a pressure game. How was that a free against Duncan. Yes he bounced the ball but he wasn't tackled. What are we playing, tiggy.

Did I just see that? A free against Caleb Daniel for a throw?

Yes, your eyes did not deceive you! Cats actually winning the free kick count, albeit by just one. Interesting to see what happens in the last quarter with the match well and truly in the balance!

Pretty entertaining game. Good to see Gaz have a strong game. Kicked a few sealers for us too.

Can someone tell me how Rohan's last quarter practically won that match for the Cats? When he was in red and white he was completely spent by the last quarter due to his stamina issues.

Until the last quarter.....where he was huge! Multiple pressure acts, run and carry, the sealer and a mark of the year attempt. Big reason they got over the line....besides the Dogs left with two on the bench and tiring.
