Our stoppage work is terrible. The opposition kick goals so easily. And around the ground port are just strolling away after a clean handball while we just fumble.
Was going to say the same thing. After a good effort in the first we have yet ANOTHER qtr where we don't kick a goal. It happens far too often and we have to start wondering whether our set up/game plan has something to do with it.
No Buddy obviously doesn't help straighten us up either...
Our forwards are non existent. Reid is terrible cannot hold a mark and McCartin is struggling. One major problem is that we cannot deliver the bell to a leading forward.

Agree our kicking into our forward line is probably one of the worst in the league. In saying that our kicking skills compared to most of the good sides are way below standard. We've always lacked on that area IMO and someone posted a couple of weeks ago that it seems that as soon as players put on the red and white they lose their ability to hit a target!
Surely when we recruit we look at these kids and try and bring in good kicks but for some reason they struggle in games. Is it something we aren't doing at training compared to other teams???
[QUOTE=Melbourne_Blood;801207]Have you watched many games this year. He’s been more than solid since coming back into a defensive role. Tad harsh I think.
I really hope Mark Riccuito brings out a christmas album this year. Such a beautiful voice.

Clearances 30-10 tells most of the story. We are being annihilated by Port.
I suspect that should even up a bit in the second half, since I thought a lot of those were more bounce of the ball, rather than great skill or planning. That is, it seemed that when the contested ball was ricocheting around, it invariably ended up bouncing to a clear Port player, when it could have just as easily bounced to one of our players. There was also a fair bit of throwing that wasn't being paid.
