Yes, always nice for that to happen :-)

I read the Cats just fielded the oldest team in VFL/AFL history!

I thought the same. Appeared to be looking for an opposition player when running onto the footy when clear. Might have been a bit tough for him. I doubt he will keep his spot for the next game.

The only real tension I’m feeling is being torn over wanting to see the Bulldogs lose badly, or heartbroken by a kick after the siren.

I’m leaning towards the latter but could take either.

The best outcome that today will bring is that we'll be able to draw a line through either west coast or collingwood. Hopefully the victor departs next week.

Who I'd like to see win the flag from most preferred to least preferred:

          Brisbane
          Port
          St Kilda

          daylight

          Geelong
          Footscray
          Richmond
          Collingwood
          West Coast
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

1st quarter frees 4 to 1 guess who.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Fairypups getting the usual charity from the umps.....free goal to Wallis.

Hanners playing well.....and the person who recently said on another thread that the King brothers won't amount to much.....you're dreaming. Max King is a marking gun (and Ben's not far behind him). I'd love either of them in our team.

The King brothers will terrorise defences for the next decade.

The Dogs are cheating as usual by just throwing or dropping the ball.

Liberatore is possibly the worst offender in the competition.

Bontempelli done for holding the ball: the Saints might now be feeling that it's their day.

Love Hanners aggression on Libba there....great stuff.....and how long was that 50 to the F/pups?! Thankfully the shot at goal hit the post.

Saints looking good at 3/4 time.

At 3/4 time, Bulldogs have 11 free kicks, Saints have 6.

And Hunter putting the shot into the post, was what it deserved. Didn't seem to be high contact and then I thought he threw himself to the ground.

Wallis gets a push in the back as he throws the ball away.....free kick! Luckily missed but the Dogs are pressing. Free kicks now 14 to 7 with Daniel now getting one....and a goal. 3 pts in it......come on Saints!! They thought they were home after Geary's goal....

Omg. I'm having 2016 flashbacks. That was not a free kick. Not even close.
