To start with is two teams who have had success already. Boring.
Then the Tigers are involved and that whiny brat Cochin who initially refused to go in a hub and leave Victoria.
Then its the number of players raided from the northern clubs
Then its the weather forecast of rain.
Then its the stupid bit of MCG turf to appease the little Victorians.

But worst of all, it will be the commentators who manufacture a 'fairytale'. Eg. Doing it for danger. My god!.

Only interest for me is Gary Rohan. Go you ginger speedster.

Seems we don't have a participant in the Grand Final sprint this year.

A player getting COVID just before they play and the game being cancelled is the ideal outcome.

A large rain band has just moved in over Brisbane. While the Gabba is on the edge of it, at the very least it's going to be soggy and slippery conditions.

If a player did get covid, do you think they would cancel the grand final, or hush it up. Last game of the year and all...

I don't really care who wins but I would like to see Gary Rohan with a premiership medallion (and a good grand final).
Dustin Martin will get Norm Smith if Richmond win. It won't matter how he plays but he will get it. Similarly, Patrick Dangerfield will get it if Geelong win. It won't matter how he plays either.
Tom Lynch will belt someone and be suspended for the first four weeks of next season.

"This is probably the worst year to win a premiership because you can't even run your retail properly."

If you can't sell premiership merch properly, is it really a premiership? I guess not.

The cynic in me says it would be kept hush hush!

NSW is locked out of QLD so none of our players could go. I wonder who would have been selected to compete?

It's a really strange build up to the Grand Final for me because I would normally be attending. I've been going since 1996 and it doesn't feel right sitting on the couch.

Definitely want Geelong to win. I want a good contest with no influence by the umpires!

The rain band is just about to fully clear from the Gabba. But around 50ml has fallen on the ground today, so even without any more rain, it should be soggy throughout the game. I guess that favours the get it forward any way game style of Richmond.
There's a band of nasty looking storms to the west, but they should be to far away to further dampen the ground.

Wow. And just like that it looks as though two players are out.

                              Cats for me too.

Anyone who backed Ablett or Vlastuin for the Norm Smith, just kicked the TV.

Weeks for Dangerfield or plausible deniability?
