For those who haven't been to a time trial before, they are usually separated into groups of up to about seven or eight, and usually categorised into players of a similar level (ie Fox, Stephens, Clarke etc will be in the same group)
Typically the likes of Bell and Amartey have been in the lowest rung group (they both each had a notoriously disastrous showing either last year or the year before, can't quite remember) I noticed Gould was in their group today, which might not bode well for his chances at getting his campaign off to an early start. He will be in for a long summer running laps I would imagine.Comment

it was great seeing Naismith doing some limited contact activity but even more so it involved lateral movement in a one on one scramble for the ball"be tough, only when it gets tough"

When on Ista, along the top there are circles of those you follow. Move them along until you see Swans and touch it. These are bites that aren't always "posted".I found it. Not insta, Twitter: https://twitter.com/sydneyswans/status/1335823193735479303?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcam p%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet.
Looks like there were a few seniors there, although I don't know that they did the time trial. I saw Parker, Reid and Hewett.
You know there's a new bite when the circles have red around them. I didn't know this until big sister told me.
Enjoy.Comment

We've seen more Ling content yesterday than his previous seasons in the list combined. And he's looking like he's fit and ready for a full pre season finally. Expecting big things from him next year.
Naismith training, and doing so without a knee strap/brace is very encouraging this far out from the season.. we may see him sooner than we thought.Comment

Thanks for the tip. I don't currently have any social media accounts (not even FB). So not sure if I see Insta the same way you do. But I'm considering signing up to Twitter! When on Ista, along the top there are circles of those you follow. Move them along until you see Swans and touch it. Agree on both points. I thought KB's comments on Ling earlier in the week were quite interesting. Sort of suggested this is his first run at it in three years and they think he's worth another shot it. Matt is a smart guy; I sense he knows he's been a bit fortunate and is determined to make the most of it.We've seen more Ling content yesterday than his previous seasons in the list combined. The last couple of posts in this thread have been a little underwhelming. And so was my attendance at the club's training this morning. I turned up, hopeful of eyeballing the players, including the new recruits, possibly even getting to witness a time trial. But there were no players or coaches at Lakeside oval 8.30-9.00 am today as I had anticipated. Either training was starting later after some indoor stuff. Or it's on different days. Or they're training somewhere else today or at the moment. Does anyone know? They do often send the younger players on training camps to bond e.g. Narrabeen Lakes etc. And sometimes they move over to Bat & Ball Oval or even Henson Park, and I didn't check out those alternate venues (I passed Bat & Ball on my way there but I was focused on getting through the traffic to Lakeside and didn't pay attention to whether there were any players training there).

Another thing, jumper numbers: does anyone know where historical lists of players to have played in various jumper numbers can be found? I'm pretty good at remembering who has the jumper numbers currently but not so good with former bearers of jumper numbers - not even those who I have watched. All opinions are not equal. It completely beats me why the club is so reticent about training times and venues pre season. Fair enough during the season as the SCG is not easy about letting people in mid week, and closed sessions are occasionally needed for some practices. But in Dec/ Jan when most are on public land at Lakeside, surely an announcement on the website is not beyond them. They do have a media team. I love going to training but live 25k from the SCG, so driving there on the off chance I might see them is not gonna happen. The last couple of posts in this thread have been a little underwhelming. It seems they just started later than usual and I wasn't patient enough - they've posted some stuff on twitter: https://twitter.com/sydneyswans?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetem bed%7Ctwterm%5E1338277573034315777%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwc on%5Es1_&ref_url=.All opinions are not equal. They only list players that have played at least 1 senior game. RWO has this feature too and it includes all listed players! You can view by year (or range of years), by number, or search by name.
It's hiding under the RWO Features link at the top
