Come on your Sydneysiders, I'm missing the posts that start with "I went to watch training this morning"

Assume there'll be another match sim soon that will get an RWO observer or two

There does seem to be plenty of optimism around the club. I hope it continues once we start playing.

Does anyone know for sure if they’ll be another match sim tomorrow morning?

They normally train on Tramway Monday/Wednesday/Friday. But last week they played the match sim on Thursday.

Great to see, Ollie, so positive about the Club and his future in Sydney. I see that Brisbane have re-signed many of their young stars on long-term contracts in recent times eg McCluggage, Berry. They have certainly turned it around since their Coach moved up from the Hawks!

I hope that we can announce similar re-signings in coming months. We have been doing the hard yards with youth in recent seasons so we need to capitalise.

I thought it we were playing GWS this Saturday. A recent article on the AFL website has just confirmed that we are scheduled to play the Giants before the Suns.

The Swans and Giants will face off in a practice match before their AAMI Community Series clashes, which will see Sydney take on Gold Coast at Giants Stadium on Sunday, March 7, and the Giants play Brisbane at Manuka Oval in Canberra on the same day.

There are going to be so many cheap 50 metre penalties for a player on the mark just twinkling his toes. The AFL have turned the rules into complete farce! Knowing the AFL, they'll send Matt Stevic (Hawks number one ticket holder) up to NSW to "assist" the NSW clubs

News that GWS Preuss is having shoulder surgery, out 5-6 months. Mummy to the rescue again!

Wasted opportunity, you need to get in touch with your inner sub editor and declare that The Mummy Returns (2001) - IMDb

In all seriousness, I'm a long term fan of our former ruckman, but like an over sequelled film franchise it's time he was left in his sarcophagus.

There should have been no comeback after the 2019 granny, it was sad to watch - like watching a clapped out pachyderm in a David Attenborough doco . . . . "See the old Bull trying to get to the next contest, he has seen off all the contenders for his place yet is seemingly unaware of his waning powers. Quicker members of his tribe run swiftly past, yet they remain dependent upon him for protection. Surely it's time for him to make his final journey to the legendary elephants graveyard"

If the Giants ruck/kids don't come up big time, he's supposed to ruck for a sizeable chunk of the 2121 season? Man I though our ruck woes were terrible last year.

Ok, thanks. Yeah I did see that, I was looking for more specific details though, I wouldn’t mind going down to watch. All good though, cheers!

You managed to post that, while I was checking the names of the Mummy sequels. The second was The Mummy: Rebirth. I think we need a new name for Mummy's latest reboot. I'm going for The Mummy: Held Together By Tape. If there's a future sequel, it would have to be, The Mummy: Scary No More. Or maybe, The Mummy: A Faint Aroma Of Death?

New leadership group has been named too. They have retained Joey, Ramps and Parker as captains, plus Buddy and Mills, and then added Lloyd, Papley and Cunningham: Our 2021 leaders unveiled.

Great vote of confidence in Cunningham. Papley has been taken back into the bosom of the group after a year a little bit winning back trust after his attempted defection.

What's interesting is that Heeney, who was part of the leadership group in 2019, hasn't returned. Nor has the experiment with a smaller leadership group been persevered with.
