Won't happen. It's an odd-numbered year. Richmond has never finished ninth in an odd-numbered year.

Few minutes later.....pantsing them now, 31 pts up!
What an embarrassing loss this would be for Geelong if the Crows can go on with it.

2nd quarter just went for 39 minutes....and Taylor Walker just kicked his fourth goal after the siren. Crows up by 38 at half time!

Cats are coming off a bye...they always lose coming off a bye.

38 points down and there's a fair chance that Dangerfield will get a week or two, for knocking Kelly out with a late bump. It was a head clash, rather than a high shot, but still, it was unnecessary.

No Brownlow for Dangerfield this year.

              Key line in Tribunal guidelines:
"... head clashes that result when a Player has elected to bump are circumstances that can reasonably be foreseen. Players will ordinarily be liable if they elect to bump if not contesting the ball."

Perhaps someone should mention that to Chris Scott at his press conference? I'm sure he'll take it well.

Not really sure what Dangerfield thought he was going to achieve by that action. The ball was long gone (and gone long enough for Dangerfield to pull up).

Dangerfield is definitely getting rubbed out for that.

I was hopeful that the Crows would be an easy kill next week. Not so!

My thinking as well.....not pushovers anymore.

Cats right back in it just before 3/4QT.

Crows were down to one on the bench for most of the last quarter.....and had only two for most of the match.

Epic win for them.....which brings me to our game and our chances and I ask, why not?

I guess Adelaide are the new premierships favourites now.

Dangerfield could be suspended for headbutting.

And Hawkins could be suspended for buttheading.

Or is it just another case of nominative determinism? The Adelaide player involved is Jordan Butts.
