And watch Pickett he’s done a lot of kicking in danger and doesn’t get pinged
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

      McCartin has been beaten tonight.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Buddy is umpired differently to other forwards. He can't get a free.

After last week, every time I hear "boot to ball" it sticks out like dogs' balls.

Luke Darcy is doing my head in.

I'm going to say the umpiring this season has just plumbed new depths. It sucks enjoyment out of watching. We were poor tonight but I am super proud we stayed with them. Can we please not pick Sinclair any more.

I never thought I’d be saying that Tom McDonald was the difference.

Effort right there tonight - really took it up to them late in the 3rd and early in the 4th. Couple of 50/50 moments didn't go our way, and as usual we saw about 9 rules books, 48 interpretations, and some utterly laughable umpiring as normal.

Disappointing outcome, but I don't doubt for one second that this team is absolutely headed in the right direction.

Yes the umpiring ruined the game for me. Knew by half time we weren't going to win it because of the Vicbias...What's the point of watching or becoming a member if the umpire is so bloody woeful...This would have been a much better game with consistent umpiring.

If i hadn't listened to the first half on the radio driving home on Triple MMM with 'insert ridiculous ad here', I'd want to reach into the box and just make Darcy stop..... painful.

What an impressive effort they played the game out right to the end never gave up and really pushed Melbourne who are a good team. Not sure but I think that’s probably the biggest test and closest result they have had this year. Some confusing decisions from the umpires didn’t help and while I never like to hold them too accountable it seems to be reminiscent of some of the performances we saw from them during the year of the Fairy puppies.

Buddy starting to look his age. I hope he just needs a couple of games to get his mojo back.
