With all the negativity about Bell, combined with the fact that the RWO consensus is usually wrong, the timing is perfect for Bell to have a breakout game.

Yeah, but why do we keep calling out a kid on the fringe citing “average disposals” that really mean Jack$&;? when half those games include limited game time. We’ve got a group of players who struggle when they’re given a chance. It we’re gonna call people out … Squizzy, for example, was poor when he came on vs the Hawks - dumb decisions lead to two goals when he failed to take the first option. Clarke does well in the 2nds but doesn’t seem up to it at AFL, Blakey has promise - but needs to get the basics right first, there are more who are not quite ready (well, at least this is what I can only assume by the limited chances they’ve had).Comment

I want bell to succeed he has a good set of weapons that if he can bring together will be a good player but he has failed to bring them together to this point , end ofComment

TheBloods, you put me onto Chad early in the season. You were also a big fan of Stephens. Why has your enthusiasm for Stephen’s cooled in recent times?Comment

After a few champagnes open the door to an a land of fantasy.....the umpire apologist is back.
BS, we won't talk about the umpires if they're doing a good job.....sadly that means we WILL be talking about the umpires. That's a gimme in the real A(V)FL world.
So I guess the answer is NO.
As for that poster who asked me if I’m Australian. Well I am. I’ve had my two shots of AstraZenica and I’m ready for this country to open up, the international borders to open and to get the show (my life) back on the road.Comment

Still am but performance matters
Dont perform don't expect a game

I’m not an umpiring apologist. I just think it’s wasted energy to focus on umpiring when you can’t take the decision back.

I am very surprised that we are again going into a game with another big defender. Every team we play is now exploiting this area and the WCE have such size. The weather forecast is for a frigid, windy day with some showers. I will be there freezing my ... off. Maybe the inclement weather will stop our defence from being monstered?Comment

Um, have you ever thought that it might be the deplorable week in, week out anti-Swans umpiring that is sucking the joy out of footy? Are you from the Bangalore Swans 'Lay Down and Take It' school of umpire over-appreciation? Cheating officials deserve to be talked about and on a public forum it is our right to debate this horrible flaw on our game.Comment
