Umpires are Rosebury (8), Gavine (14) and Fleer (26). So no Razor, Stevic, Nicholls etc.

All the extended IC except Kennedy and Wicks named in the reserves team. Three will be needed out of Bell, Blakey, Rowbottom, Sinclair, Stephens and COR for this game. I would expect that it would be the first three and then either Bell or Rowbottom as the medi sub.

According to VFL Match Day info at Sportstg , 6 of our 8 members extended bench are listed in the selected VFL team against Footscray. Possibly there will be late changes. The two certainties to play in the senior are Wicks and Kennedy. Will beclear after 5 pm. By the way, Paddy McCartin, Ronke, Reid and W Papley (brother of Tom) are listed fort he VFL return.

Have to assume Squizzy is injured. No sign of Chad, Melican, Ling or Campbell this week. Great to see Sheather is back.

Thought you were talking about Josh Schache as JUH hasn't played an AFL game but realise now you might have been referring to VFL.

Blakey won't go to JUH. They have a really short forward line. It's Josh Bruce and JUH, and then no one over 6ft except for when Tim English floats forward. Fox to JUH and then McCartin and Rampe to swap between Bruce and a resting English.

We can really stretch them this week. Cordy, Williams and Keith will be required to take Amartey, Buddy and Hayward for height. Duryea to Papley is a good situation for us. Wicks will do a defensive job on Caleb Daniel, and I really look forward to watching that.
That then leaves Bailey Dale for Heeney. We really need to expose that match up.

We've got them we'll covered at both ends - but their middle is so elite. I'd be bringing in Rowbottom for his defensive work at contests. Probably get him to stay tight on Bailey Smith.
Do we send Hewett to Bont, MacRae or Libba? All 3 hurt in really different ways.
I don't think Libba can be stopped at the clearance. And Bont is more damaging with his possessions, so I'd send Hewett to him. And then back Kennedy and Parker to meet Libba at the coal face.

Would have been a great game to have had Chad back in for.
Im glad you put a full stop after The Chad in for. and just let the team do their work this week

I'm good with no changes this week, unless anyone has an injury that would benefit from rest.
Stevic wss actually decent last week …it’s just going to be really hard to forget that chamberlain performance ..I know it’s hard to forget Stevic performances ..
Chamberlain just seemed to lack no end of ego and his ego was hurt ..I’m hoping for rare events that he’s found a new path in life where his ego is no longer important

That's because it dawned on him pretty early in that match that WC were pathetic and that he was going to have to do some 'next level' cheating to make any difference......so he gave up and umpired properly.

Rosebury could inflict some damage. Fingers crossed that they just umpire fairly without any biased 'Fairypup' BS.

Yep, referring to VFL. JUH had one good game in R2 of VFL where he kicked 5 goals against GWS. He's done bugger all since and last week he was very quiet against lowly North. To be fair, he has had time off with the Victorian lockdown but definitely has not earnt this start with his onfield performances. It would be equivalent to us giving Gould a start if one of our key defenders for injured.

Was it the Demons or Tigers game where they sent a tagger to him and were actually able to slow him down?

Found it, the Dees sent Harmes to Liberatore and kept him to 4 clearances, down significantly on his average of 8.6

I guess it also helps to have Oliver winning his own share as well
