Field kicking returned to its best. Parker, Heeney, Rowbottom, JMac and Blakey fantastic. Papley doing his thing, good and bad. Wicks better. And I’ve said a few times, I like Florent but he’s frustrated me for a bit now.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Seems like the turnover in defensive half with Blakey was we missing Jake Lloyd taking kick ins.
There is a real chance that Bulldogs will lose the last match and Lions will go into top 4. If only we had won last week, we would have been easily been into top 4Comment

We are alternating between Final 8 and (too often) bottom scrapers. Ollie has been woeful, can do much better. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

I think it was in reference to how North has been playing in recent weeks despite their ladder position. I tend to agree especially considering how they started the season. But it takes time to learn the game plan of a new coach.I'm a bit confused, turned the TV on 30 seconds before the bounce and heard some commentator going on about the swans being in danger for this game because norf are on the up and norf supporters should be happy with where they're going.
They're last on the ladder. Am i missing something here?Comment

Blakey has been very impressive - finding the ball a lot. The only thing I'd say is maybe 10-20% of the time he marks he should take 2-3 seconds to look. But maybe Horse has given him license to go anyway.
I was worried about McLean in the early part of the that 1/4 but he stood up thats for sure - great high mark.
Re: Sam Reid I think he is important as he can go into the ruck - like to see him to a few more marks though.Comment

I cut the young guys a lot of slack. They're learning the game every week and they show an incredible amount of guts and dedication. The young players at the Swans are hungry and the brand of footy they play is great to watch If you have been around for ten years and are still making the same mistakes, then you deserve to be criticised.
