It sounds like a plot for a historical miniseries ..with maybe Revenge playing in the background by Pink and Eminem
Thank you Bangalore at the very least you bring songs into my life
I reckon you could add "Won't Back Down" which was Pink & Eminem too (it's on his "Recovery" album) to the soundtrack.

I am surprised that nobody yet has mentioned Campbell? While long-term he is a great prospect, I think his spot for the first final is in question given his form and light body. I can see him and Mills out with Chad and perhaps Kennedy in if the latter passes a fitness test. If Kennedy is out then it becomes quite interesting who replaces him. The Giants will likely bring in Mummy and they will try to bully us like the Hawks did in the 2014 GF. We need strong bodies and experience to counter this possibility.

I was at this game. It was one of the sweetest victories I can recall (finals aside). On my birthday too. :-)

          This is an excellent observation.

On another matter, someone suggested that Rampe would play on Greene. I'd have thought Cunningham would get that job.

We haven't beat Port since 2016. That's five losses in a row. It's our longest losing streak against them. However, finals are different. We overcame an 11-game losing streak to beat Collingwood in a final in 2012, and that same year our record against Adelaide was 2 wins and 10 losses over the previous 10 years before we beat them in a final.
Our recent record against Geelong is better. In the last five years, it's 3 wins and 5 losses. Not great, but Geelong will not relish a final against us.

Of course, we have to defeat the Giants first. So far, we have played them in two finals and lost both games.

I think Greene would be too strong overhead for Cunningham. Greene’s a brilliant mark who reads the flight of the ball expertly. I think the bigger Rampe will be a better match up for Greene.

Thank you KTigers ..I’ll have a listen to that one tonight ..I actually haven’t listened to the album

KTigers or others you quoted a match the Swans played against the Hawks in Tassie..I haven’t seen that one..
does anyone know what our support is like down there ..we seem to have a very loyal base all around the countryside and it was so good watching the Swans playing at GMBHA stadium some weeks back ..We were meant to play in Ballarat the following week but then were moved to Qld ..missed being able to watch the Swans fans at the grounds in Melbourne ..wish we could have seen more of that ..makes me feel proud of the history and fan base from that history..

Do we have lots of swans supporters in Tassie do you think ..I hope so ..would love to see that for our final .to see madly cheering , excitable fans in Swans gear and the big banners behind the goals

I get what you are saying but I reckon Campbell makes us a better team. Would definitely keep him in.

I reckon they'll give Mills all the way to the warm up to prove he's right. The type of injury is one that could go either way through a warm up. And I think you give him that chance. He's too important not to.
Not really sure if anyone comes in - the lack of reserves updates and film makes it impossible to judge of anything meaningful. Would love to think Warner is close, but who knows.
