Maybe the AFL want it to be a Dogs V Dees grand final- old yellow no 9 will get the call up to officiate for sure.I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Mind boggling , what’s behind it ?
Just everyone they play is dirtier or an inbuilt mindset to favour the working class ?
I’d like to hear the umps take on it .Comment

Because Hawks are no longer relevant!
Every 50/50 seemed to go to the Dogs, every blatant throw "not seen" by the umps. In a one point game the biased umpiring got them the win. Hope Port smash them next week.Comment

Guys, let’s admit the only way to beat them is by playing better football- like we did- otherwise you’re playing against the umps as well and they control the whistle. Last night I thought in fairness they handled the ball a bit cleaner than the Lions, who really only had Cameron up forward. But of course the umps had to finally help them out, especially in the last quarter.
Often when tackled they drop the ball without being penalised, and get the benefit of 50/50’s. The Bont “ mark” comes to mind.
Anyway, Happy Fathers Day to all our Dads!Comment

So, the Poodles have now won the free kick count in the last 9 finals they've played! Amazing!
In the first quarter last night, the umps were right onto them. The Lions got 8 free kicks in that quarter and the Poodles were pinged for incorrect disposal 3 times! But, after that, it was business as usual with Poodle throws and dropping of the ball consistently going unpunished. After being well behind in the free kick count at quarter time, the Poodles ended up winning it 28-19. Of all the decisions made and not made, however, the one that galls me the most is the Poodle free kick at the centre bounce after the Lions had scored a goal to level the scores with about a minute to go! Those umps just could not wait to give the Poodles a chance to go into attack again!
Let's hope that Port absolutely smash them next week!Comment
