Great to see Blakey continue on strongly in his role from late last year. Rowbottom clearly has the power back in his legs and is covering some serious territory and sticking tackles. Stephens solid. McDonald’s work rate looks impressive. Heeney doing his thing.

Oh and my love affair with JMac is going into another year. He really is a serious talent. Fingers and toes crossed.

Pretty disappointed with Wicks so far - fumbles and zero influence. Hayward about the same.

McInerney easily B.O.G. Mills very good in first game and Blakey has provided a hell of a spark.

Agree some have definitely been there and for sure a few silly frees have been given away mainly from over exuberance so not too disappointed it’s just the ones given that don’t make sense when viewed on TV

Our midfield group is starting to develop serious flexibility across it in terms of the roles that players can play in the team.

Really enjoying the follow up efforts from Mcdonald after the initial contests too. The kid is going to be a serious player when it all clicks.

They seem to have lifted a bit in this quarter Hayward in particular has provided a bit more pressure

At one stage we were 14-12 ahead in the frees. That stat is now 16-30....so since sometime late in the second quarter to now, the free kick count has been 18-2 in North's favour.
