I can't wait to see what it brings.
The focus on buddy over next couple of days will be amazing and deserved, and great for the rest of the group, as the AFL media might forget a little about how we've started this season.....

36,000 at the SCG, how many does it hold ? I couldn’t go ( work) but how is that not a sellout ? Barry is right, Sydney ain’t Melbourne.
For those that went though, amazing, I hope you ran on the ground and soaked up an historic moment !

1. The weather. Was meant to be pissing it down.
2. The time. My kids are now 11 and 9. But games starting at 7.50 end very late.
3. The weather. Seriously, it's been so wet in Sydney i was sure there was no way anyone could kick 4 tonight. But the weather gods smiled on the swans.
It's now raining.Comment

Congratulations to Buddy on his 1000 goals! How lucky are we to see him play for our club.
Those scenes were unbelievable. I don't think we'll ever see anything like that again.
I was a bit concerned for his safety though...the security should have been surrounding him. Although it looked like there were a number of people running on the ground before he actually kicked the goal. Can only imagine what would have happened if he missed!Comment

Great win, though. Warner, Gulden, Campbell, Blakey are going to be great players for a long time. Stephens not far behind - probably his best game.Comment

Seriously magnificent scenes. All very wicked and crazy with the crowd, but how can you not smile at that magnificence.
And that's before you think about what this swans team is starting to show - I know we still have to finish the job, but we couldn't be happier with what we've shown over the first two weeks.
The sky is potentially the limit for this squad in 2022 if they believe.

Great to run out onto the ground with my son. What a moment. I’m standing with my son and Sam Wicks just walks past like he’s just another person amongst how many people were on the ground.
I saw on the TV that Tom Stewart from Geelong had an incident with a pitch invader. Does anyone have any info on that?
Lance Franklin is a credit to the game and keeps producing.
Very good performance.
I want to apologise to TheBloods. Kennedy was very good. That pass to Hayward for the 1st goal was great.
Chad added a new gear to the midfield. Loved his handball to Heeney for a goal and his pass to Franklin for the 1,000.
Blakey, Rampe, The McCartin’s and Campbell good in defence.
Heeney looks in great touch. If he stays injury free he’ll clock over 50 goals for the year to go with the midfield excellence.
Mills was superb on Danger.
The style of football is so good to watch. Through the corridor at speed. Really great to watch.
Two unfortunate players next week of Papley and J-Mac are ready.Comment

Just home from the game, latest ever finish and I left some plums stewing on the stove.
Cycled home and a neighbour I’d alerted (who was also at the game) got there b4 me to turn it off and they were just reaching critical burn out of the saucepan !
I was so frantic to get to the game and just rushed out .
Unforgettable night, rushed down from the top tier of the Brewongle as Buddy lined it up.
A sea of happy faces , even the Cats fans soaking it all up.
Swans are playing a very good brand of footy .Comment
