A point to note here for every RWO'er - Harry has come straight back in after an extended lay off. That says how highly he is rated for the work he does, most of which in not noticed by supporters nor the stats sheet.

Buddy for Amartey is obvious, Fox almost certain sub.

New ruck for Port will be interesting, was supposedly good at SANFL level but this is a big step up. Useful outs for Port as well. If we can't win this then we've wasted our two most recent wins against the odds.

Pre season 2020 i called it - Harry was a leader . He was excellent with the young fellas . Very popular inside the 4 walls

        My pleasure TB.
Mind you I can't agree about Buddy learning to mark - I think "old dogs and new tricks" is the appropriate truism.

Marking was never Buddy’s strongest talent, but his field kicking has been and still is phenomenal. Not sure what TB is saying in this regard- his kicking is elite- period!

That's cool. But your opinion is factually wrong.

If you want to be a smart alec that is fine by me champ .

Lance has been bottom 6 at the club for disposal efficiency the last 2 yrs (injured in 19&20) and top 6 at the club for clangers . But he has gone at 71% goal accuracy in those 2 years which is bloody strong . So if he isnt missing many goals but still putting up pretty poor disposal efficiency and clanger numbers , hes stuffing up somewhere else

He is stabbing at his kicks too much these days , you can even see it on his face he looks frustrated that hes stuffing up kicks into the fwd line that he used to nail . Does a good one once in a while and everyone goes back to thinking gee how great is his field kicking , meanwhile ignoring all the ones that he overcooks !

Could you include a url for the kicking efficiency etc. data of Buddy?

Jackson Mead is coming into Port's team for this match. He's the father-son lad we bid on before taking Gould at the draft a couple of years ago. I'm keen to get a look at him - don't know that I've seen him play.
All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Have to be careful when using stats. Top 10 Swans in disposal efficiency all backs as it is easier. Harder to be efficient when winning the ball in congestion or kicking inside F50.

Also footywire stats give averages. So if you have few disposals you're less likely to have as many clangers as a high possession player. Interestingly Warner number one for clangers per game and 25th out of 29 for disposal efficiency. Bell 29th.

However Franklin's % of clangers per disposal is higher his past 3 seasons. Whether that be due to deteriorating skills, improved defence, playing slightly different role etc I have no idea.

Its almost as though having 4 players trying to negate you every week is catching up with him
