    Reckon Wicks will be emergency.
Please NO! He’s not yet ready to be anywhere near the team. Maybe next year. Surely Joey, though preferred him to play 1 more in the ressies.

Yes, it almost always means we won last week.

What's the weather like? Will the ground be in good condition? A bit slippery?

I think they call it "partly cloudy". There is a bit of blue in the sky, but it could definitely rain a little. There hasn't been
heaps of rain the last few days. The ground drains ridiculously well because of the way it's constructed, but you could see
how guys will slip over a bit (Tom Papley, I'm looking at you... long stops dude).

How far are you away from the SCG. In my part of Sydney (a few km from the SCG) it hasn't stopped raining all week, albeit it constant rather than torrential. It's raining hard at Lakeside right now (where I am not, but am watching).

If a player is making their debut, they should start on the ground.

If Wicks does get on the field (and I hope not, not because of him, just because it means one of our other players is injured), then I hope it’s very late in the game and we’re up by 50, in which case he has my complete support to give away one of standard silly frees by smashing into The Rat.

We have to watch Tex. He loves playing against us on the SCG.

Looks like a very poor crowd with 10 minutes until the first bounce. It's been awhile since I've seen bays so empty.

I had a group of 4 confirmed. 2 have gone down with Covid. Other 2 running late. We might double the crowd.

It ended up being a good crowd. I think they were running late like you. It just looked strange seeing the bays so empty.

We decided to drive to avoid public transport crowds. Got to the ground at 1pm, but didn’t get into the car park until 1:40pm! It seemed particularly badly organised yesterday, as the queue was massive on Anzac Parade. Many were late.
