When our intensity drops, our skills drop proportionately. Contested possessions - Parker 13, Rowbottom 9. The rest need to up the ante again.Comment

I don't think we play well in the wet. Which is strange considering the immense amount of rain our guys must have trained in.
I feel a bit sorry for Amartey - terrible game to try and establish your credentials as a key forward.Comment

Weirdly, I thought last week was his best game for a stretch, but yes, he’s been pooey so far today. Big second half please.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Well. Great first quarter. Followed up by our usual @@@@e second quarter where we let the pressure go once again. I thought Nicks outcoached Longmire in the second. He pulled all his half forwards up to the contest. We had players back but they just ran the ball out of the contest. Our mids were battling at least 2 extras. We can't allow that to happen in the third.
They were also puchingtheir half backs into the contest. Papley is very lazy on the defensive side. He allowed Berry far too much room and did not chase

JMac has been ordinary.
We made a lot of errors. Too much handball when the rain came.
By the way, any chance we get a centre clearance.Comment

Laird is killing Parker. Parker really needs to lift. He's a proud man so I expect he will.

Too much fancy stuff- witness warners random kick at the football without a target in mind...Adelaide not making Freo's mistake of zone defence and playing one on one and showing up some of our less skilled players...We can win, but we need to do the basic stuff well like keep possession, and wait for good options.

Why are we rushing? We are 4 goals ahead , we can afford to be a bit methodical...Nicks is outcoaching LongmireComment
