Well, I've calmed down now.......... My blood pressure was through the roof as I was pacing up and down in the Man-Cave like a caged lion in those last 5 mins. I couldn't sit..... And then those last 20 seconds. OH Man................. FINALS FOOTY AT IT'S BEST.....

      That was horrid.
I'm not excited (yet) that we are in the Grand Final, it is an overwhelming sense of relief.
For me, the injuries and subs changed the complexion of the game completely. Us losing Reid (any question of how important he is to our setup has surely been extinguished now) allowed their defence to get the spare man and mount a lot of counter attacks, which is how they like to play. Them losing Cox meant a more mobile, competitive player came in.
      Luke Darcy is a dickhead.

On another note, I have had a hatred of Collingwood passed down generation by generation and it burns deep. I still hate them, but I like the way they play. A lot of respect for them here.

Collingwood's poor discipline cost them the game. On hindsight they shot themselves in the foot giving away so many 50m penalties.

By the way, didn’t the Melbourne media tell us De Hoey was unstoppable, a difference maker, a fire starter or whatever idiotic catchphrase Leigh Montagna blurts out.

My heart rate has been about 120 for the last five hours. What a terrific effort from our magnificent team to make the GF. The lack of match fitness and loss of Reid really told in the second half, but we blew several chances to ice the game despite that. A couple of Pies fans said we should have been 50 points up, not 36.

The Swans haven't played particularly well after irregular breaks between games, and this was another of those, when we ran out of steam and just managed to get over the line.

It was a bit of a crazy game, with plenty of errors made by both sides. The free kick calls and non-calls had a big impact. So much for Matt Stevic being the best in the game. I thought the umpiring crew were poor today. I don't know which team had the advantage of the calls even though the count was 20-15 for Collingwood, who usually don't get a good run from the umps either.

We've usually finished off games well this year, but could hardly keep up in the 4th qtr. Credit to Collingwood for being so fit. Maybe the week off before the prelim is not such a good thing. Geelong didn't really have much competition, so hard to tell from that game.

It's hard to tell what will happen in these finals games. So much seems left to chance and accuracy in front of goal. But we are in the GF, which is fantastic from where we were after the bye week this year. We have every chance to win this.

Honesty time. Did anyone think we'd be playing in a Grand Final after losing to Essendon?

The mob near us were quiet in defeat. TG we won - cos it could’ve been unbearable.

Well, there’d be 59 free kicks each way in a game. Just need to hide it a bit better.

We were 30m from that one. NFI what it was for. Fairytale ending is my best guess.

How did Papley pull that mark down close to goal closed in on every side, it was certainly one of the heroics that got us into a Granny.

By the way, just a word of love for Horse. We were stuck almost on the bottom of the ladder for two years.

You could see in 2020 we were pulling together the cattle to get us back up. I remember seeing quarters from Stephens or McInerney come back from ressies, etc, and thinking we will be all right. But to do it so quickly and get to a grand final, un (swear filter) real.

                                Love ya Horse.
