    Left field - Ladhams?
I like Ladhams. Amartey a bit “soft” McLean good, but Ladhams has toughness.

Are you referring to the Ladhams suspension?

He was suspended in a VFL game for 3 weeks, and I believe he's served just 2 weeks of that suspension so far. So he's not available next week.

Ladham definitely if he's available. Mclean otherwise.

I thought Ladhams was going to be available if we made the Granny.

I think that was only if we didn't win week 1 and played 3 games to make the GF

Since the Swans didn't play last week, it doesn't count toward games Ladhams has missed due to suspension. So he's only missed the 1st week in Sept. and this past game. That's only 2 of the 3 games he will have to miss. But he will be available for week 1 in 2023, unless he gets suspended in a practice match or gets injured.

I think if our VFL team had got through to the PF he'd have now been eligible. His three game suspension would have been absorbed by the SF (win that wasn't), the VFL PF last weekend, and then tonight's AFL PF. But as things stand, he's still got one week to serve.

I just noticed Rowbottom's stats for the game. By the numbers, he was BOG for tackles and pressure acts. He was our best for clearances and contested possessions, equal best for score involvements and our second best for metres gained. Something of an unsung hero sort of game. I thought he was instrumental in our forward progress in the first half, and along with Errol, he had some important touches in the final quarter to slow Collingwood's momentum.

I think I've calmed down now but I'm still in shock because I can't believe we're in the Grand Final. I honestly thought they were going to overrun us at the end.

Good luck to everyone with getting Grand Final tickets. It's going to be bittersweet for me this year as it will be the first GF without my dad sitting next to me. However, wherever he is I'm sure he willed us over the line tonight. And I'm sure he will do all he can next week.

The obvious negative tonight is the injury to Reid. It changed the game tonight and he will be a big loss next week. I really feel for him after the amazing season he has had.

I feel for you re your dad Mel. Grief pops up its head in all sorts of circumstances.

And I agree re Sammy, he deserves to be in this GF. He has been superb for us this year. He is hard to replace.

Longmire's presser is up on AFL.com, it's a good one- he's low key and obviously happy- didn't say much about Sam- he said just to enjoy the week...I will enjoy teasing my student who is a Collingwood fan-
