Collingwood did very well out of the trade that sent Dayne Beams to Brisbane for 2015-2018. Beams had four good years at Brisbane but Collingwood got Jack Crisp plus picks 5 & 25 which they turned into De Goey and Greenwood. Highway robbery! Crisp has been extremely reliable for the Pies and seems to never miss turning in a good game. I had Crisp BOG for the game.

It goes for 21 minutes and the vision of the game is not flash but you get a great sense of the passion of our crowd and the guy who produced the clip!

      GO BLOODS!

It will be a year next month since he passed away so all the milestones are hard. Especially his Birthday...(the day we beat Fremantle ????). And of course Father's Day...(the weekend we beat Melbourne in the Qualifying Final ????).

Yes, he’s been able to turn them into a side who are almost likeable. From 17th to losing a pre-lim by a point is pretty special — I’m not sure how I’d be feeling if they’d jagged a free in the last 5 seconds & went on to win — but you’ve gotta give ‘em credit for how they went about it.

Nope he was on Lindsay Fox's yacht off Alaska. It was reported they had the WiFi ready to watch the game. At the time I read the article I hoped they had dodgy WiFi connection but now I hope he was able to watch the loss! A shame we couldn't see his face.

If we could have, his face would have been puffy and red LOL!

Having just watched a replay, I can say that final quarter was still more exciting and nerve wracking, than any game of rugby league that I've watched this season.

Riles Maccas home grown video was a good effort, the noise level live at the ground was humongous and fans from both sides were completely beside themselves.
                      Thanks

Apparently the US broadcaster stuffed it up and cut short the broadcast with 51 seconds left to play and the Swans leading 95-93. I bet Eddie loved that! Although maybe he was watching via the AFL website instead in which case it was probably fine.

Been off and on this board, as a watcher only, for a few years now but following the Swans since they came to Sydney.
This is an excellent board and I have enjoyed reading almost everyones opinions for these last few years almost always positive about our team
Last night was great as always to be there - the most incredible atmosphere I have ever experienced at the SCG.
High fives with my son were regular early on and then at the end I lost all my fingernails

I was a bit surprised that Buddy didn't take a turn in the ruck when Tom was desperate for a rest (I still recall Barry Hall inspiringly spelling Goodsy in that final against Port) - instead we saw Mills, Heeney, Logan Mac and even Errol having a go.
Sure if he'd been in the ruck he may not have taken his last quarter mark - life's full of if's and buts - but I was surprised none the less.
I know some will regard it as heresy, but I think itd be less damaging to the team if he was hurt in a ruck contest, than any of the others were.

The media thread is screwed up so I will put this here. James is something of a quiet achiever and has just been getting it done over the last few months.
He has become one of the top second effort players in the competition.
