Good to see Gould get another crack at it. Let's go Swans.

Who is Sam Simpson? Any good?

Come on Swannies - step 1 towards redemption for the unmentionable day can be taken tonight.

That’s good re Ceglar, in that it’ll keep Blicavs occupied as ruck

Ceglar always seems to play well against us too. I'm not normally a fan of a tall being a sub but I think it works in current circumstances. We've got enough smalls that can shuffled around to accomodate Gould's introduction either in an emergency or for strategic reasons.

Weather forecast is partly cloudy, 16° dropping to 14°, with only a light breeze. Which seems very benign for Geelong and just right for moving the ball quickly and hitting targets.

I am away this weekend at the family holiday house so unfortunately have to watch the game via channel 7 and will have to put up with the ads.

It's been awhile since I've watched a swans game here. I hope I don't scare the neighbours!

Jesus. Three free kicks in the opening three minutes when they missed a blatant one for us. At least the umps are lowering expectations early.

What a surprise with the umps.

Very nice play to get it back straight away.

That grandstand at the Northern End - left of screen - is taking longer than The Pyramids to build
