In current games, Geelong made a bit of a charge, but GWS leads by 12 at 3/4 time.

According to the betting, our Bloods were underdogs last night so that's 4 out of 4 "upsets" so far!

4 Minutes to go in the first quarter of the Suns/Poodles game and the free kick count is Suns 0, Poodles 6.

Yep, 1 out of 4 so far. I did tip the Swans.

Yeah, disgusting. The Ugle Hagan free with which he kicked a goal was holding the man.....the ball spilt free before he affected the tackle and he threw the Suns player to the ground without the ball. #freekickfairypups.....#giftgoalfairypups

The Seven commentators were creaming their pants on what a great tackle it was....idiots with the same Vic-centric mindset as the umps.

We are now half way through the second quarter and the Suns still have not received a free kick....the Pups have 8. WTF?! Somehow the Suns lead by 10 points.

You have to admire the control and composure of the Western Bulldogs. Half way through the second quarter and they haven't conceded a free kick yet.

It is a glaring trend now when Victorian teams play interstate teams.....and especially when the Pups are the Vic team. Very frustrating for non Vic team fans.....but keeps the heartland happy.

Suns by 21 pts now....I tipped them because I can't stand the Pups......btw, Suns still haven't got a free kick and it's almost half time. It's laughable.

Oh wait, they just got 2 in a row ....and the Suns are having another shot for goal. Missed, Suns by 22 now.

Come on Suns! Keep it up!!

Disgraceful umpiring. Free kicks Suns 2 Poodles 10 and the Suns got their 2 in the last few minutes of the half.

Hell, there was one passage of play in that second quarter where the Poodles got away with 2 one-handed throws!!!

Odd game. The Dogs looked like they were going to put the game away in the first quarter, then the Suns got going and are starting to run away with it. Lukosius is having fun up forward and I loved the sideline angle on the one that he volleyed home from the Ainsworth cross. The Suns have found a star at pick 6 in Bailey Humphrey.

Back again to their 2016 heroics are they?

                      Come on the suns!

The Dogs are down by 22 points at half time but lead the free kicks 10/2.

First goal the result of the umpires totally ignoring a holding the ball against the Bulldogs and then paying one to them 2 seconds later.

Umpires totally ignore the blatant push in the back by Naughton. Goal to the Dogs.

And the second goal comes from a missed blatant push in the back to a Suns defender.

Honestly, this is not just bad umpiring, it's cheating.

My understanding is the Swans had Humphrey at no2 on their notional draft list, behind Ashcroft, last year. You can see why.
