Yeah that's a good point- It's just that it's been such a disappointing year, I don't want another enormous defeat to add to the psychological impact of the defeat last year...I think that could really cause some serious problems with our group....not to mention myself and other fans...

Or you 'want' to believe that. You really have to stop putting the bad performance of players on the coaches....when the opposition gets a run on a malaise can go through the players, it like a virus of doubt.

Do you really think the coaches would ask the players to change what's been working all night? "Righto boys, now play not to lose". I highly doubt it.

Anyway, we won so we can all be happy.

It seems to be a never ending story. Lead by 4-5 goals and the opposition runs over us. That goal from Papley and the lucky bounce was our life saver. It very concerning how many one on one contests we seem to lose. A win was nice but something is not clicking correctly.

Only one came back straight after half time when we kicked those 3 goals. Then the rest came back and unfortunately Essendon started playing better. They all left quickly after the final siren ????.
