Ump was there and Lloyd certainly called it right away.

Gee we looked pooped in that last quarter. You could also see the absence of Paps around the ball. We still might need other results to go our way next week as I’d guess Paps misses, and I reckon McCartin will be line ball.

Still, we did so much right despite the last quarter. Tough at the contest, the Lizard superb, my man McLean played another good game and I thought Hickey was much better. Heeney all class.

And eat it, Rat. Enjoy your downtime in September.
'Delicious' is a fun word to say

I don’t think it hit the padding. The ball seemed to change trajectory as it grazed the post above the padding. The goal umpire was in the best position to see it, and he seemed confident.

Good on him for calling it as he saw it despite the hostile crowd at his back!

Dylan Stephens played well. Really liked his game.

I'm looking at the ladder and tell me if I'm wrong, but are we playing finals no matter the outcome of any of the matches in the final round?

I'd be bloody annoyed if that call went against us.

I hope he stays with us.

You should hear Dermott Brereton carrying on Fox about that last goal.

Fox footy post game show in complete meltdown and seemed to have proved it didn’t hit post. Talk of over turning the result, which would be a joke. Derm comparing it to the Sirengate game.

Can’t over turn result as there was still time left in the game! Who’s to say we wouldn’t have gone and kicked a goal from the bounce?

Clearly that goal umpire was upset at the raw deal we were getting from the field umpires. Felt like the umps were scared to pay us a free after the first quarter.

Couldn’t happen to a nice bunch of supporters, however. They boo everything.

Yes from what I see, I think we will make finals this year - even if the Bulldogs win both games they have- and we lose next week- we still finish 8th-

                        Does anybody see different?

Actually- maybe not if the Bulldogs win both games? I'm confused now

Yeah feral bunch aren't they? Glad to see they won't be hanging around for the finals, good riddance. ????

If that happens and Giants win then we finish 9th (if we lose)

I think we finish 9th if we lose and Giants beat Carlton.

Not safe yet, I don't think. Presuming the Poodles beat the Eagles tomorrow, they're a threat. If we lose to the Dees and the Poodles win again next week at Geelong, they'd go above us and if the Giants beat Carlton as well, we're out. I think!
