Swans chat Tickets for Elim Final v Carlton

Members have received member pre-sale info for tx, limit one ticket per member barcode. On sale Wed 30 August 10am - 2pm AEST via the dreaded Ticketek bun fight.

Can someone remind me: can the member buyer choose seats in the earlier finals rounds or is it a lottery system like the GF?

General public ticket sales open after member pre-sale period closes. So presumably Wednesday afternoon?

Buying tickets for these games is a bit of a moving target. I've gone on and could have got a crap seat, then backed out and gone on a few minutes later and up came a much better seat. It is though, a dogs breakfast. We are playing Carlton so expect our allocation to be not as good as theirs. I fly in from overseas at 8.30am that morning so won't be getting on at 10am. Might be a good thing. Don't quite get why the rush to sell tickets this week.

As an AFL Member I can choose which section I want to sit in the Shane Warne Stand. Example: Level 1 undercover, Level 1 open etc. So I would assume you should also be able to choose where you want to sit. Hopefully someone that's a Club Member can confirm this.

General Public ticket sales are from 3pm on Wednesday.

        Club member sales were fine.

Getting timed out just before 10:00am wasn't good for the happy thoughts.

Subsequent retries out of what nowadays is referred to as a waiting room took until 10:15.

        N12 row E. Good seats on 50m.

        Happy thoughts restored.

Claims of it being sold out, most likely more will be released, something they also do nowadays.

They are excellent seats, well played in the Ticketek scramble.

May that be a good omen for lots more happy thoughts.
