More rain please. Terrific response to the Giants dominance in the second half of the first quarter. Very pleasing to see how we responded to the rain and adjusted to the conditions.

Just listening on radio, so I haven't seen the McCartin hit, but the commentators are now saying that Brown should get a few weeks. Is that about right? And should someone get punished for the bump on Melican?
Also sounded like a tough second quarter effort to kick four unanswered goals.

Haven’t seen vision of Melican, but yes - Brown will likely get three or four weeks.
The entire side cracking in but two lesser lights deserve a shout out - Amartey for attacking every contest he could during the wet period, and likewise Wicks, who was in and under and harassing the crap out of them.
Weather and the loss of Tom Green has helped us, plus we’ve manned up their spare in defence. All of a sudden they look vulnerable defending high kicks into the 50.
Brown left the ground and led with the shoulder. Didn't need to do the second part of it. 3 or 4 weeks will be what he gets - you just can't do that in modern footy.
Hope we can kick on from here - was very pleased how we adjusted to the conditions. Gulden warming into the contest nicely after a below his standards first quarter. Rampe making such a difference down back too - gee I'm glad he is back given McCartin went off.
Come on Swannies - send the plastics home with their tails firmly between their legs.
Wicks doing a top job too up forward - really cracking in to the tackle. Seems to have taken a good step forward with his ability to nail tackles on bigger blokes too. Very pleasing.
